Saving Grace provides a home for young women aging out of foster care or facing homelessness, offering them hope and transformation through relationships, coaching, and opportunities that empower generational change—trusting God with the outcome.
The grant from Harriette's Dream Fund is being used to help expand their Equine program.
Heroes Ranch is part of Sheep Dogs Impact Assistance, which is dedicated to serving military veterans and first responders – our nation’s protectors and rescuers, our “Sheep Dogs.” These heroes have an innate desire to serve, and their service gives meaning and purpose to their lives. After an injury or shift/tour of duty ends, that meaning and purpose is often lost, and these heroes may be plagued with PTSD, injuries, depression, addiction, and isolation. Through Get Off The Couch™ programming, Sheep Dogs who have suffered similar traumas & experiences gather together for camaraderie and opportunities to continue serving,
The U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots program collects new unwrapped toys and distributes them to less fortunate children of the community, helping bring the joy of Christmas and send a message of hope to America’s economically disadvantaged. Over the years, Marines have established close working relationships with social welfare agencies, churches and other local community agencies which are well qualified to identify economically disadvantaged children in the community and play important roles in the distribution of the toys.Harriette's Dream grant will help provide toys to children in Northwest Arkansas.

Branded Equine provides Physical, Occupational & Speech Therapy to individuals of all ages and incorporates equine assisted therapies to increase the physical and emotional benefits of these therapies. In Operation Branded, veterans and first responders work with wild mustangs to create mutual connection and healing.
Branded is a passion driven organization that strives to provide safe, effective and meaningful programming in every aspect of the organization. Each portion of the organization gives back to one another and, in turn, creates an environment that fosters growth and provides purpose to all involved.
Arkansas is ranked #1 in the country for food insecurity. Many food insecure families cut back on food expenditures to pay for critical household expenses. In fact, more than two-thirds of households served by Feeding America food banks report choosing between food and utilities, medicine, or transportation. In 2023, NWA Food Bank distributed over 11.7 million meals (14 million pounds of food!) to the four counties in their service area through partner agencies, mobile pantries, Feed Rogers, and school pantries.
Advances in pediatric medicine begin with a vision for a future in which all children can grow up to be healthy adults. ACRI researchers share this common vision and have devoted their lives to making this vision a reality. Researchers at ACRI are addressing a broad spectrum of children's health concerns, such as the biological mechanisms underlying birth defects; diabetes-related complications; and numerous childhood diseases, including asthma and cancer.
Boston Mountain Youth Ranch offers a youth mentoring program for children who are struggling by providing a safe, positive experience for children and families in a farm setting, and through sharing with them the greatest hope the founders have to offer them - the saving hope of Jesus Christ. This is done at no charge to their family.
Their Harriette's Dream Fund grant will help cover operational expenses for the program.
NWA Gives is best known for the Day Of Giving. In the five years since it was created, over 500 local nonprofit organizations have raised close to $3.5 million to support their services. Today, NWA Gives has grown into a year round network of support for its organizations, providing fundraising training and resources to nonprofits in NWA. As nonprofits grow in their ability to connect with financial partners in the area, they are one step closer to accomplishing the vision of meeting needs in our area.
The CALL's vision is to have no waiting children in foster care in Arkansas. Through a partnership with DCFS, they serve children and families who are navigating the foster care system as foster, provisional, or adoptive homes in Northwest Arkansas. Their mission is to educate, equip and encourage the Christian community to provide a future and a hope for children in foster care and they provide a variety of programs to support this mission. Their Harriette's Dream grant will be used to buy much-needed beds for foster children.
Mission K9 is dedicated to rescuing dogs who have faithfully served our country in military or law enforcement roles and providing them with the retirement they deserve. When possible, retired dogs are reunited with their handler. Otherwise, they are adopted into loving homes. Dogs dealing with physical trauma or behavioral issues such as PTSD receive the veterinary and rehabilitation care they need prior to adoption.
For The Love is a non-profit food truck on a mission. There are various types of hunger. For the Love’s desire is to not only feed the stomach, but feed the soul. During their weekly Neighbor Nights in Springdale, Rogers and Bentonville, For the Love serves a free meal to all who wish to come, bringing together people of disparate backgrounds in an evening of community and sharing. Through this, they accomplish their 3-fold mission: Feed the Hungry. Cultivate Community. Fight Poverty.
Courage's vision is to stimulate, motivate, and engage individuals to create a deeper connection with themselves and others. They offer a safe place for individuals seeking clarity, direction, healing, and peace of mind. Utilizing natural horsemanship methods, they promote exploring perspectives, connectedness, communication, the importance of strong leadership, and good decision-making. The horses teach concrete lessons that often times are difficult to learn elsewhere in life.
Bella Vista Animal Shelter rescues and rehabilitates the lost and homeless animals of the City of Bella Vista. They provide food, shelter and medical care for animals in need until they can be reunited with their family or adopted into loving homes. These are animals that would otherwise be left to search for food and defend themselves against predators.
Teachers today spend an average of $500 out of pocket on their classrooms each year. Charles Best, a teacher himself, figured there were people who'd want to help if they could see where their money was going. In 2000, he founded DonorsChoose, a website where teachers can post requests for classroom resources, and people can decide which ones they would like to support. Since then, over 6 million citizen donors have contributed over $1.7 million to support requests from teachers. Harriette’s Dream will focus on fulfilling requests from Arkansas teachers, with an emphasis on low-income schools.
Huckleberry rescue is a foster / volunteer based dog rescue organization serving primarily McDonald and Newton counties in Missouri and Benton and Washington counties in Arkansas. They also operate a boarding and grooming service in Jane, Missouri with the proceeds helping to support their mission to rescue animals.
Turpentine Creek's mission is to provide lifetime refuge for abused and neglected “Big Cats” with emphasis on tigers, lions, leopards, and cougars. Their core belief is that big cats are predators, not pets or entertainment for the masses. They and other exotic and native wildlife deserve to live out their lives with dignity, allowed to be the wild animals they instinctually are. Turpentine Creek gives them a voice, both for those forced to live in captivity and those struggling for survival in the wild.
Since 1957, Cookson Hills has provided no-cost home, school, and therapy for kids who are at-risk. Their children’s home in Northeast Oklahoma serves kids ages 5-17 who want to write a better story for their lives and have experienced challenges with family life, homelessness, poor peer relationships, abuse, or neglect. Their vision: to raise up healthy individuals who are empowered to positively impact future generations.
SCC is a grace-driven nonprofit serving the hurting and hungry of Northwest Arkansas with dignity and compassion through a variety of programs. Food security for children and families is provided through the Café, Market, Farm, and children's SnackPacks. Free backpacks filled with school supplies allow students to begin the school year fully prepared for learning. Samaritan Care and Samaritan Dental Clinic provide counseling and dental care to those who might otherwise go unserved. Their two Samaritan Shops are open to the public and sell gently used clothing, household items and furniture.
Homes for Our Troops builds and donates specially adapted custom homes nationwide for severely injured post-9/11 Veterans, to enable them to rebuild their lives. Sgt Andrew Butterworth of Pea Ridge is one such recipient who will receive the keys to his new home in July. The specially adapted home with automatic doors and paved walkways surrounding the home will enable Andrew and his wife to take their children outside from the comfort of their wheelchairs. The home will also give Andrew the space and energy to create a workshop and start up a metal working business.
Trident Creek is dedicated to providing rehabilitation, adoption, and sanctuary services to equines. They rescue abandoned, neglected, and abused equines as well as offer homes to equines whose families can no longer care for them. Each horse is individually assessed to determine their physical and emotional needs. Issues such as trust, fear, or aggression are overcome using natural horsemanship techniques. Once rehabilitated, Trident Creek works to find the ideal home for each horse.
For those who knew him, Zeus is thriving at Trident Creek and is part of the welcoming committee for new horses. He is fully retired and in his forever home, since Trident Creek feels he has done enough for children over his years at Horses for Healing.
The Bella Vista Courtesy Van is an all-volunteer organization that free transportation for Bella Vista residents who can no longer drive, by reason of age or health. Residents are taken to appointments such as doctors, rehab, beauty shops, as well as for personal trips such as shopping.
Hope, Understanding, Grace, and Success
Hugs Café directly employs adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a café setting in McKinney, Texas. Jobs at the café include server, cashier, sandwich line attendant, sides and dessert assembly, dish washer, host and more. Hugs Café believes it is important to provide quality jobs that are designed for the individual so that employees will know personal and professional success.
Their Harriette's Dream Fund grant will help cover operational expenses for the program.
Together with the community, Dress for Success empowers women in Northwest Arkansas toward economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and programs to help them thrive in work and in life.
SPSFNWA helps single parents in Northwest Arkansas create futures for their families by providing direct financial assistance, as well as supportive services for those who are pursuing higher education and live in Benton, Carroll, Madison, and Washington counties. They offer resources that inspire generational transformation, increasing community awareness on the educational barriers single parents face and strengthening the region’s workforce.
Reins of Opportunity is dedicated to opening doors of possibility for underprivileged children. Its mission is simple yet profound: to provide these youngsters with the chance to learn horseback riding, horse care, and ranch work. Connecting children with the world of horses can instill vital life skills such as responsibility, teamwork, and confidence. Reins of Opportunity understands the transformative power of working with horses and being part of a ranch community, and is passionate about offering this experience to those who may not have access to it otherwise.
Victory’s Service Dog Ranch is all about saving lives and providing second chances. Every day on average 22 Veterans commit suicide due to reasons such as PTSD, failing to adjust back into society, and not being able to cope with current daily life. Not only do Service Dogs greatly help with these issues, they also assist in their handler’s ability to become more self-sufficient and confident. With affordable in-depth, and in-person group training classes (thanks to the generous donations of others), Victory’s Service Dog Ranch is making the dream of having the necessary help in someone’s life a reality.
