Our First Grant Goes to: Saving Grace!

On April 20, Saving Grace was the first recipient of a grant from Harriette's Dream! Since 2010, Saving Grace has been providing a home for young women aging out of the foster care system or facing homelessness. Under the loving guidance of the Saving Grace team, these women learn the life and relationship skills they will need to succeed in living independently and to break the cycle of generational poverty. Part of the Saving Grace program includes Equine Assisted Therapy. The grant from Harriette's Dream Fund will help them expand this program to include learning to ride and care for horses. This project is near and dear to our hearts, since we have seen firsthand through 30 years at Horses for Healing the tremendous impact that a horse can have on children of any age. We wish the entire team at Saving Grace success in this endeavor!
